Suitable for beginners, amateurs and aficionados
Stephen will share a wealth of knowledge about the night sky during a stargazing lecture in The Torridon Hotel, two stargazing excursions in the surrounding highlands, post-excursion Q&As back at the hotel, as well as a complimentary selection of photographs taken by Stephen during your trips out.
Combine this eye-opening experience with world-class dining in 1887.
Savour seven course tasting menus on both nights, created by head chef Ross Stovold. Working in harmony with nature and in partnership with local suppliers, Ross’ daily-changing dishes present the freshest of ingredients, unmanipulated and bursting with flavour.
Treat your palette even more with a tipple of Arcturus
The Torridon’s very own gin incorporated into a special afternoon tea. Handcrafted in the Scottish Highlands, Arcturus is distilled with foraged local botanicals from the surrounding land, sea and mountains, including Scots lovage, kelp seaweed, rowanberries and foraged blaeberries. Arcturus takes its name from the fourth brightest star in the sky, a giant red star that is around 3 billion years old. Read more about the star Arcturus in a blog written by Stephen Mackintosh.
