Cycling the North Coast 500 and a Bonus for Cyclists Staying at The Stables

Cycling the North Coast 500 is a great way to tour the north of Scotland. Granted we are more used to seeing drivers on the new NC500, but a growing band of intrepid cyclists are also taking to Scotland’s own Route 66.

Some may attempt a non-stop navigation. Most quite rightly take their time to enjoy the fantastic scenery and bracing fresh air and they will arrange their holiday accordingly.

The official NC500 website provides some inspiration for the touring cyclist with suggestions for a week-long itinerary.

One great accommodation option on the NC500 worth considering for the keen cyclist is to stay at The Stables.

For a start we can provide you with great food and drink and a very comfortable bed for the night.

However as a bonus for cyclists on the North Coast 500, we can also provide secure storage for your bike as well as bike repairs and servicing.

And as a brief but happy distraction from – or even addition to – your itinerary we have some great mountain biking routes nearby and will rent out mountain bikes if your own is more of the touring variety.

Contact us for more information on cycling the North Coast 500 while staying at The Stables.
