Trail Tracks: Mountain Biking for Everyone at The Torridon

It is a story of four wheels good, two wheels better for many of our visitors to Torridon. But while the lure of the open loch-side road is undeniable on a lovely Spring morning, many cyclists can’t wait to take to the hills on a mountain bike.

We have a selection of sturdy steeds here for those people, including a batch of brand new Merida Big Nine hard tail mountain bikes which will withstand even the tougher Torridon trails.

Regular followers of the team will not be surprised to know Torridon Activities have been hard at work this Spring scouting out new routes and devising a fresh mountain biking trail through the grounds and skirting the loch, with spectacular views of Beinn Alligin and Liathach beyond.

Whatever your skill level or MTB experience, contact the team and they will fashion a mountain biking plan which will be as easy or demanding as you like.

Here is a short video of Ryan biking the Balgy trail to give you a taste of the thrill.
