If you’re looking for privacy and comfort, The Boat House is ideal.
Close to the water’s edge, you’ll enjoy uninterrupted views across the loch, through the panoramic window in the lounge — perfect for watching the eagles, pine martens, otters and the huge variety of sea birds that busy themselves in front of the boathouse.
Inside it’s tastefully furnished and decorated in a modern contemporary style. The solid maple floors, reclaimed from the old resort buttery, add warmth and charm to an old converted boat shed that has been a family home in the past and now offers people the best in self-catering luxury. Sadly dogs are not permitted.
Sumptuously decorated, linen, towels, bathrobes and hairdryers are included.
The front-facing double bedroom has a unique arched window, letting you peek out at the mountains and loch and watch the herons hunting for their breakfast. There’s even a hot water bottle to keep your toes cosy on chillier evenings.
Past the main bathroom is a twin bedroom – the comfiest beds, exquisite duvets and soft cotton sheets to allow the perfect, peaceful night’s sleep.
The kitchen is modern and well equipped with every utensil you should need. If we don’t have something you need we’ll do our best to get it for you. There’s a range oven, dishwasher and a separate fridge for wine. The dining area has seating around a large oak table, for entertaining or a romantic meal for two.
If you prefer, you can take breakfast, lunch or dinner at the nearby Torridon Hotel restaurant or at the Torridon Inn both just a short walk away.
