What a wonderful hotel. It was our last stop on the NC route as we decided to take the X5 on an anti-clockwise route. Recommend doing that – leaves the best bits of scenery till last. This was beautiful. A wee bit hard to find in that you have to keep going past the Right turnoff to Torridon proper. Keep going for another few miles and it’s on the other side of a wee -place called Annat.
Great parking. Nice drive up. Entrance hall is a warm and cosy welcome with log fire and guest lounge off. We ended up in one of the ground floor suites. Beautifully decorated and fitted out especially the superb bathroom, nice products, two flat screen TVs (one is at end of bed and disappears into a small Ottoman by remote control). Tea and nespresso machine available as well as fruit and Tunnocks tea cakes – nice touch. Breakfast is cook to order. I had salmon and nice breads bread. Wife had kippers. Just lovely. Staff very attentive and chatty especially the Australian barman. We had the fine dining dinner both nights and also had the tasting menu on one night two. Could not fault this, the service or the wines.
Definitely recommend this and would definitely go back.
One of the best in Scotland I’d say.

A (luxurious) home from home!
We were lucky enough to book this fantastic hotel for our wedding at the beginning of October. Like others, we were won over by the amazing scenery and setting of the Hotel. However, one of the deciding factors for us was the friendly, helpful and professional service that we received and witnessed being given by every member of staff at the Hotel and the Inn.
The Hotel helped us have the celebrations we wanted, which meant we could invite our immediate family and close friends for a fun and relaxed weekend away in a luxurious place without feeling formal or intimidating. No request was too small or too much trouble. Each room was decorated and furnished in it’s own unique way, which just added to the wow factor.
Another highlight of our visits, but particularly on our wedding day, was the food. The unfussy way that the high quality ingredients were served meant that they were allowed to speak for themselves, and even the fussiest of palates were treated.
We’ve had nothing but fantastic feedback from our guests and we cannot say enough good things about it.
Thank you once again to everyone that we met at the Torridon and importantly the staff we didn’t get to meet, as you all helped make our weekend very special to us. We are both already excited about coming back to visit again next year.

We stayed for two nights with dinner and breakfast included in our package. Our room was perfectly lovely and the food and service beyond compare. There are some lovely walks in the surrounding area. The Torridon is a first class hotel, with a price to match.

Fantastic Afternoon Tea
We just stopped for afternoon tea while driving past. We did book in advance and they were very accommodating on arrival time. It felt like a way to visit a top class traditional Scottish hotel without paying the world. The hotel is fantastic and the location and views are amazing. The staff were friendly and attentive and it was nice to see that as we booked in advance and there was nobody else there they set us up at the table with the best views over the loch and mountains. The afternoon tea was delicious and it was great that we could choose different teas from the extensive selection once we had finished.
The best thing for me was the price, for what we got the afternoon tea was fantastic value. Would seriously recommend it. The food and presentation were brilliant and the teas lovely. Highly recommended

Firstly we were met by Louise on Reception who was very friendly and welcoming. Louise took us to our room which was a de-lux room with stunning views over the loch.
The room was beautifully decorated and very well appointed. The bed was really comfortable. We had dinner in the hotel which was fantastic, a very enjoyable eating experience and again the staff were brilliant, very helpful and attentive without being over the top. We then went in to the whisky bar, well what an experience over 300 bottles to choose from!! Good job young Peter was on hand to help, excellent host and very knowledgeable. It was great fun and we where very sad to leave the hotel after 3 wonderful days. Thank you to all the staff at The Torridon for making our stay such a wonderful and happy experience.

Top Stay on NC500
Our stay at the Torridon was amazing. The grounds, the hotel, the room, the service, the food, the drinks: top marks all round.
We took the tasting menu for dinner and it was a very enjoyable experience.
Hotel had it’s own gin (top marks in my book!) and menu included ingredients from the resort and kitchen gardens. All in all a very unique place with some of the best views in the world at it’s doorstep…do explore the grounds. We will certainly return to the Torridon.
