This went from one winter season to six and included teaching all over Europe as well as Australia. During the summer, Charlie worked at a number of outdoor centres near his home in London gaining further experience and qualifications. He also embarked on a month long trip to Morocco, including a five-day self-guided trek across the Atlas Mountains. After a snowboard trip to the Scottish Highlands Charlie decided to move up permanently and has never looked back. He spends his spare time biking, hiking and ski touring (when the snow permits!).
Jack comes to us off the back of winter season in Japan where he taught skiing. Before that, he worked at an outdoor provider down in Kent; very far removed from the North West Highlands! During this time there he picked up a number of qualifications and experience in a range of activities such as climbing, kayaking, canoeing, mountain biking and hill walking. He enjoys exploring the area in all sports and in particular he loves putting his climbing skills to the test on his days off. He hopes to become a British Mountain Guide in the future. We hope that while he is working in Torridon, it will allow to gain a wealth of experience to edge closer to that goal.
