THE TORRIDON SIGNATURE BLEND

torridon signature teaTheTorridon Signature Blend is a wonderfully balanced and robust tea which can be enjoyed throughout the day on its own or as the ideal accompaniment to a good hearty Scottish Breakfast or a delicious Afternoon Tea indulgence. The tea develops a deep reddish-brown infusion with a rich and creamy taste with slightly sweet and flowery notes.

EARL GREY

One of the most widely drunk teas in the world, this is a blend of Chinese black tea and essential oil of bergamot which provides that beautiful aroma and flowery citrus flavour.

ASSAM LEAF

assam teaThis Assam leaf blend is blended from selected Assam teas which are chosen from different tea plantations in the country of origin.The infusion of these black, well processed leaves with light leaf tips is strong and dark and has an earthy-spicy taste and a malty note.The scent is spicy and heavy.

DARJEELING NAMRING

darjeeling teaThis tea fascinates with its wonderful leaves and its marvellous, typical first flush aroma.The brew produces an amazing light red colour combined with a full-bodied, strong taste and a typical first flush appearance. The scent and aftertaste are nutty.

LAPSANG SOUCHONG

lapsang teaThese teas are a specialty of Fujian Province in China.The leaves are put through several stages of preparation which culminates in the teas being hung in baskets over smoking pine wood fires to dry. The leaves consequently become intensely black and have a distinctly smoky aroma.The leaves have so much flavour that they can be used for two to three separate infusions.

JASMINE BLOOM

ACHING MUSCLES TEA

A deliciously refreshing herbal infusion where a subtle mellowness of chamomile flowers combines smoothly with a zesty twist of lemongrass and invigorating spearmint to create a light and stimulating tea with a yellow cup and complex aroma. This infusion is thought to be ideal for aching or strained muscles. You should avoid this infusion during pregnancy.
