We’re very proud to be a five red star resort, but it’s our personality that our guests really love and that’s what we want you to bring to The Torridon. Our food and beverage team are a key part of every visit to the resort, from the wow factor of walking into our restaurant to gaining an education in our whisky bar. In this role you’ll be making sure that every guest has a great stay at The Torridon.

You’ll need to have a UK/EU passport and/or valid visa

  • What you’ll bring to The Torridon
    • Supervise and assist training of the team so that they are confident and competent.
    • Host and co-ordinate the food experience at the hotel for all guests.
    • Understand and have competent knowledge of the wine list.
    • Liaise with the Head Chef in supporting professional food service and knowledge.
    • Communicate effectively with the team and other departments.
    • Supervise the health and safety for the department and record hazards.
    • Attend and contribute to meetings daily, weekly, monthly as necessary.
    • Supervise customer expectations and deal with complaints and compliments.
    • Supervise the cleaning rotas for all areas of food and beverage.
    • Supervise stocks of cleaning products for all areas
    • Ensure stocks of breakfast products / liaise with Head Chef
    • Supervise the recycling and environmental control of the department.
