June sees the arrival of the Celtman Triathlon to the Torridon area. Athletes from around the world will compete in an epic test of endurance involving a 3.8 kilometre swim in frigid Loch Torridon waters, a 200 kilometre cycle over mountain passes and topped off with a gruelling 42 kilometre run taking them over Beinn Eighe!
With the event taking place on Saturday 23 June, The Stables will be a busy place with more then 600 people expected to descend on the area, so be sure to book your table ahead of time for dinner. We have evening entertainment from the Lochcarron Session Band and for those musicians amongst you, please bring along an instrument and join in.
As for the Celtman, we shall all be cheering on Torridon’s very own Ryan Maclean as he tests himself against some of the world’s best triathletes. Good luck Ryan!
