Moving Pictures: Capturing Torridon’s Natural Beauty

Two videos of wild Torridon for you today. Further to our news about the Torridon Photography Trip with Colin Prior later this year, the Guardian has an excellent profile of Colin Prior in its Culture section today.

It’s an extraordinary job when passing golden eagles can get in the way of your perfect shot. Scottish landscape photographer Colin Prior explains his passion for the natural world, why photographers should rip digital cameras apart – and why his work makes him feel like the conductor of the elements.

Also, you may remember Torridon’s starring role earlier this year in a VisitScotland video featuring Cameron McNeish.

It was shot by Gerry Burke and you can now enjoy the original Torridon video on his website.

Shot on location in beautiful Wester Ross, this video showcases the natural beauty of Scotland’s outdoors to the world.
