“And the award for the Scottish Hotel of the Year 2012 – 2013 goes to… The Torridon!”
What a fantastic accolade and what superb recognition for everyone in the team.
The AA Hospitality Awards celebrate the very best in the UK hospitality industry and we were thrilled when The Torridon won Scottish Hotel of the Year 2012 -2013 at a glittering event at The London Hilton on Park Lane on Monday night.
This could not have been achieved without a great team effort from all of the people who work here.
Time and again, the quality of service at The Torridon is highlighted by guests who vow to return to our idyllic corner of the North West Highlands.
Yes, we make sure our rooms are luxurious and facilities are second to none – we even have our own activities team to help guests make the most of the spectacular scenery – but it is our dedicated staff who quietly and efficiently respond to, and anticipate, every request which helps to set us apart. We could not be more proud of them.
This is a particularly joyous time to win Scottish Hotel of the Year as we celebrate The Torridon’s 20th Anniversary, the hotel having been run by the Gregory family since 1992.
We have recently upgraded all of our bedrooms and bathrooms and added a fantastic new suite. And with the award of our third restaurant rosette, our food has been playing its part in maintaining the highest standards.
However we never rest on our laurels and though we have been fortunate to garner many five star reviews from our guests, winning the Scottish Hotel of the Year Award 2012 – 2013 will only spur us to work harder to meet, and where possible exceed, their expectations in the months and years to come.
