The newest member of the Torridon team is already turning the heads of a few girls in the field.
Robbie of Cobblepot of Arndilly is a magnificent Highland bull. Seven years old with a terrific pedigree that rolls of the tongue. His sire was Neil of Ben Aigen, his dam was Ailleag OG 3rd of Balquhardy. And if you think that sounds like something out of Brave, that’s just how we roll in the north west Highlands.
After a two and a half hour journey from Moray, Robbie has made himself at home and quickly adjusted to life at The Torridon.
He is currently putting his feet up (metaphorically), enjoying a short holiday to acclimatise himself to west coast grass before being formally introduced to the Torridon cows.
If you want to know more about Highland cattle, head on over to the Highland Cattle Society. If you want to see Robbie in all his hairy glory, book a room at the Torridon hotel.
