Thank You All: Raising a Glass to The Torridon Real Ale Festival

Rohaise and I would like to thank you all for your help and support over the weekend of the Torridon Beer festival.

We would like to specifically thank James and Magda and all the team at The Stables for organising and running the event with great enthusiasm and passion. It was great to see CAMRA supporting us for the event where we had over 25 Scottish real ales on over the 4 days.

We would like to thank David Whaley for his very interesting talk on Thursday evening which was very well received and enjoyed by many with a pint in the hand!

The quiz on Friday was well supported with 24 people taking part in a challenging, if not sometimes curious, quiz. The quiz together with the previous weeks “World’s biggest coffee morning” raised £720.00 for Macmillan Cancer support. Well done to all!

On Saturday we had a Craft Fair which saw £80.00 raised for Highland Hospice, thank you to all those who came to showcase your products.

Last but not least we would like to thank HM Coastguard and Torridon Mountain Rescue for the incredible helicopter display on Sunday. All the local children certainly enjoyed getting close and personal with the helicopter. This, together with David’s talk on Thursday, managed to raise £355.00 for Torridon Mountain rescue.

The weekend has been a superb success and once again thanks you to all who supported and gave so generously their time and donations.
