The Torridon grounds provide numerous photograph opportunities thanks to the surrounding mountain landscape and the ever changing light and its associated drama. A number of British artists, such as Andy Goldsworthy and Richard Long, use the landscape for their artistic work. They use natural materials to produce impressive structures or occasionally more ephemeral subjects which naturally decay. At the Torridon we have our bird life, wildlife and nature’s palette. Our recent freeze provided me with plenty of opportunity to capture images of rock and ice and other subjects. Remember to pack your camera when you visit.
