There is a lot of hot air talked about reducing carbon emissions but we like to put our money where our collective mouth is and have already committed to reducing The Torridon’s carbon footprint by a substantial 52% by 2017.

Colleen has successfully completed the Carbon Trust’s Carbon Management Programme and our carbon reduction plan has now been accepted. This photo shows the moment we were presented with our certificate by Fergus Ewing MSP and the Carbon Trust at the Scottish Parliament earlier this week.

We have our own Green Team at Torridon, coordinated by Colleen and have already made considerable investment in a new Biomass heating system.
