Mark Andrews, director of Pixar’s new film Brave set in Torridon (yes, it is, just look at those mountains!) says that as part of his research he went skinny dipping in Scottish lochs. Even we think this is appropriately brave.
We may have beautiful Loch Torridon in front of us but the window of opportunity to skinny dip during the calendar year is limited, unless you want to come out of the water as blue as Braveheart’s face (to mix our movie references).
We are not quite sure how skinny dipping in medieval Scotland is portrayed in Brave the movie but if it is, no doubt Pixar will keep it tasteful. The next question – and related – is how will Brave portray the Highland midge?
