Anna Kendrick Cups Video: You’re Gonna Miss Me When I’m Gone – To Scotland

In the new and hugely popular (30 million views and counting) Anna Kendrick video, Cups song (aka Pitch Perfect’s “When I am Gone”), Anna Kendrick plays the part of a cook disillusioned by her lot in the local diner.

She dreams of a different life. Her gaze lingers on the picture postcards taped to the fridge.

It rests on…yes, take a look, can you see it?

Visit Scotland, the card urges, above a photograph of an empty road snaking through a Highland glen to a distant loch.

Happy days. This is none other than our well-beaten path from Achnasheen through Glen Docherty and on to Loch Maree. Turn left there at Kinlochewe and it’s a beautiful 10 mile single-track drive to The Torridon.

At the end of the video, Anna Kendrick walks out of the diner to who knows where? Suggestions on a postcard…
