If you have ever been to The Stables and brought a healthy appetite with you, you probably already know it serves one of the best burgers in Scotland, a magnificent creation made with Highland beef from our own Highland cattle.
If you have never been to The Stables but you are going to the Royal Highland Show this week, you will be able to view the same burger in all its glory as Chef Bruno Birkbeck recreates it in Scotland’s Natural Larder Cookery Theatre.
Bruno will take to the stage on Friday 21 June at 2.45pm and as well as whetting the appetite with the Torridon burger garnished with Tain cheese and Macbeth’s bacon, he will be working his magic with Isle of Uist smoked salmon and Kyle of Lochalsh scallops. As if that isn’t enough, Bruno concludes the feast with his special raspberry cheesecake, made with fruit from the Torridon kitchen garden, West Highland dairy cream cheese and homemade shortbread.
Details from the Royal Highland Show website. See you there!
