The Torridon Wine List Scoops AA Notable Award

Hotel manager and resident whisky expert, Colleen Calderwood turned her attention to The Torridon wine list recently with great success.

notable wine list award Two years ago, as a change from tasting whisky, I decided to tackle our extensive wine collection.

With 250 bins in-house, I was going to need a bit of help.

Into the ring stepped Daniel and his ever-growing knowledge of clarets and fine French wine.

I am happy to say I have now become great friends with many of the wines in our cellar, their unique styles and characteristics and I enjoy reading up on them to best inform our guests on the choices we offer.

This year we decided to enter the AA wine list awards and I am pleased to announce that we have now received a Notable wine list award. This is a fantastic achievement as only 217 awards were granted out of over 1000 entries.
