This year’s Living Food at Cawdor Castle event has everything you could hope for in a great day out. And by everything we mean both Bruno Birkbeck, chef at The Torridon, and a fibreglass Highland cow called Rosie. It may be hard to know who is the greater draw but true food lovers will be beating a path to the cookery demonstration theatre where Bruno will be showing off the skills which earned him his place on the Great British Menu while also keeping The Torridon restaurant’s guests sumptuously fed every day.
Additional highlights on the day include food tastings of loca and organic produce and milking lessons with the aforementioned Rosie. Living Food at Cawdor Castle will be held on 24 September 2011 and family tickets cost just £8.
