Another week and another new bottle is on its way to add to the collection. Ardbeg, my current favourite distillery, has released a new malt whisky, the Ardbeg Rollercoaster and as I wait for it, I am slightly nervous about how it will compare with the other great Ardbegs. To help me get over this anxiety, I went shopping. Or at least I made a wish list for Daniel to sign off, which he will do once I have show him all the fantastic offers I have found. Meanwhile, on the subject of Ardbeg, I discovered Ardbeg Corryvreckan recently received two awards: World’s Best Single Malt Whisky at the World Whisky Awards and Single Malt of the Year from Malt Advocate Magazine. Well deserved. Tasting notes for the Ardbeg Rollercoaster will follow as soon as my parcel arrives. Thanks to Charlie for his recommendations.
