Rohaise and I have always been conscious of the quality of our product and that we must maintain the highest level in order to exceed guests’ expectations. Our lowest common denominator if you like are our classic bedrooms that do not have loch and mountain views. Although we might try, it is impossible to give a view to every bedroom unless we put the hotel on a revolving turntable….a job for the maintenance team! So we decided sometime ago to try and give the classic bedrooms a wow factor that would make up for the lack of view and really give a sense of ultimate luxury to our cheapest rooms. Room 19 was completed last year and room 20 has recently been finished. Using our designer and soft furnishing company, Fabrik Magic, Rohaise has come up with a fantastic room we know our guests will enjoy and love. It is an eclectic mix of pinks, blacks and golds with luxury trims and finishes. The real challenge was that, because the room is on the ground floor, we wanted to offer some privacy to guests yet still be able to let the light in. The result: a pair of wooden blinds now adorns the windows that is both stylish and practical. The room is also fitted for wheelchair access with an adapted bathroom.
Next on the agenda is Deluxe bedroom 5 and Classic bedroom 10, both of which are being designed now and will hopefully be completed toward the autumn.
