We have a new winter skills programme for Scotland in 2010/2011. Dates are set, time tables are in place and we are ready to go. As if in preparation, this week has seen our first heavy fall of snow not only on the mountains but right down to the loch. Over January, February and March we will be running Winter Skills Weekends. These weekends will give you the opportunity to learn all the basics of winter mountaineering, covering skills such as walking with crampons, ice axe arrest and avalanche awareness, all in the stunning location of Torridon. We also have some great packages linked to The Stables so keep an eye for those.
Our snow hole trip is also ready to rock and roll. This exciting adventure will talke you off into Scotland’s wilderness on an overnight adventure of a life time. You will build your own ice palace and spend a stunning night – in surprising comfort – before waking up to Scotland’s wilderness with the best bedroom view in the world. For more information on dates and prices check out our Winter Skills Courses programme.
