The winter is just as beautiful, if not more, as the summer months are at The Torridon. With white blankets of snow covering the mountaintops and crispy frost across the green grass.
Our activities don’t stop just because the weather gets colder – we embrace the winter with activity sessions running from Thursday through to Sunday!
Guided Walk
Take in the full extent of the highlands with a guided walk through the area, showing you the highlights and must-see sights. Have your camera at the ready, as you will see the most beautiful sights of mountains, lochs, and maybe even some wildlife.
Loch Activities
Whether you’re a pro in the water or just a beginner, our open canoeing and sea kayaking sessions are a great way to spend a day out. Our skilled activities team is on hand to help you out and show you the ropes. From the loch, you will get to see The Torridon from a different angle.
Guided Mountain Biking
If you are up for a real challenge, take on one of the Torridon Mountains by bike. One of our activities team will guide you around the best routes and paths to take. From the top of the mountains, you will see the most spectacular views of The Scottish Highlands. We have bikes and equipment to hire if required.
Other Onsite Activities
If you don’t want to venture too far out, we have onsite activities such as archery and clay pigeon shooting. You can enjoy The Torridon gardens and take in the grandeur of the Hotel, whilst learning a new skill.
We advise to book activities 24 hours in advance to make sure you get a place. You can book here. If you want more information you can have a look at our activities video on the activities main page!
