There is an old chestnut you don’t go to Scotland for the weather. In other words you can have a great time despite our climate. Happily that even applies to our outdoor activities. A new TripAdvisor review describes a recent family holiday at the Torridon. They loved the food, location and accommodation but they also enjoyed Torridon Activities:
Great fun was had by us all on several days during the week when we undertook activities such as gorge scrambling, loch kayaking and mountain walking. It really didn’t matter that the weather was less than kind as Chris, Richard and Ryan were brilliant instructors whose main aim was to ensure we all enjoyed the beautiful mountain and sea environment in a safe and exciting manner.
David continues by saying guided activities are both a great way to get to know this part of the Highlands and of testing yourself.
Certainly my wife (who is very uncomfortable with heights and no mountaineer) now considers herself an expert at climbing Pinnacles after a day being coaxed up the top of Leotach by Richard and Ryan! And what a view from the top!
And what a view from one of our guests! The activities team love helping their guests enjoy the mountains. Come back soon.
