Dip a Toe into the Water: Try Our Summer Activities at The Torridon

Ryan MacLean, one of our instructors, reports on a busy time for activities.

It has been full steam ahead for Torridon Activities for the last few weeks as we are right in the middle of our peak period, from archery on the front lawn to mountain guiding on the high ridges of the Torridon mountains.

We have also had some superb trips out on the loch with the kayaks and the open canoes where we have had the company of seals and occasionally the white-tailed sea eagle.

Gorge scrambling has also been very popular. What better way to start your day than to jump into a nice cool river from a waterfall?

Our new clay pigeon shooting range is up and running. Looking out onto the loch and up on to the mighty Liathach, you are guaranteed to be shooting with one of the most amazing views the Highlands have to offer.
