Few visitors ever set foot on Rona, a small island off Skye’s craggy coast. But this year you can.
Our trip on 13 October, in conjunction with Torridon Sea Tours is one of the highlights of the Torridon Walking Festival.
It begins with a sea cruise on the MV Seaflower, luxury 40ft catamaran, with a chance to view Hebridean wildlife along the way.
Once safely moored at Acarsaid Mor, one of Scotland’s most beautiful anchorages, your guide will take you across the island, narrating tales of its history, spotting native wildlife and discovering some of its 300 different species of plant.
For lunch, boat operators Gemma and Kenny will prepare a locally-sourced sea food feast before the day ends with the sea crossing back to Torridon.
If the thought of such a memorable Autumn adventure floats your boat, head on over to The Torridon Walking Festival to book your place today.
