This week Richard and I went guiding on An Teallach, near Ullapool. We spent a day with a group of lads traversing the ridge and enjoying the view of Lord Berkeley’s seat. It was fairly cloudy all day but we did get the odd glimpse of the views and thankfully the winds were less fierce than promised. Half way along the ridge we came across the pinnacles which are very similar to those on Liathach. This is where the group split in two before meeting on the Munro Sgurr Fiona before climbing onto the final Munro Bidein a Ghlas Thuill and descending into Glas Tholl. I am trying not to eat chocolate these days, so here is a photo of trying some fancy foreign food on An Teallach. The jury is out on whether this is the way ahead.
