Brave is this year’s big movie release from Pixar. Set in the wilds of Torridon – well, it certainly looks like the stirring Torridon landscape – the new Pixar movie features feisty Miranda, who we see in the latest trailer for Brave hitting the bull’s eye with a well-shot arrow. Queen Elinor, her mother isn’t so impressed. “Merida stop,” she commands. “A lady enjoys elegant pursuits”.

Well, it so happens, archery is an elegant pursuit at The Torridon as many regular guests will agree. The Torridon Activities team often set up their targets on the front lawn for families, groups of guests, even wedding parties. It’s a great shot of a Highland activity which never fails to be a hit with our guests.
