From the Activities Team: Winter Skills on Beinn Eighe

Last weekend, we tackled our final winter skills course for 2010 on Beinn Eighe. It seemed to have the majority of accessible snow but this time we set ourselves up a little lower where a strange cleft in the hill had created a little curved shelter with a wonderful run-off for ice axe arrest.

As we went through all the winter skills we enjoyed the site of herds of deer set against dramatic views of the Coulin Resort and Torridon Glen. It was a cracking weekend with some great moments of comedy. Check out the movie of our Winter Skills weekend on YouTube.
