This Easter bank holiday I had a great time guiding in the Torridon Hills. On Friday I was up on Liathach with a group. The sun was out, the temperature was perfect and there was almost no wind. The rock was dry and the pinnacles were superb, offering some great views. On Saturday I was on Beinn Damph. The conditions had changed completely over night. The cloud was down, the wind had picked up and the temperature had dropped. We still had a great day. As we descended into the saddle on the way back, the cloud lifted and we were offered some fantastic views across Applecross and out to Raasay and Rona. Hopefully I will have more opportunities to get into these fantastic hills this year.
