The very best of luck to our own Ryan MacLean tomorrow when he takes on one of the toughest challenges in Britain, the Celtman.
This gruelling triathlon is set in the beautiful wild Torridon landscape. But although this is home from home for Ryan, a member of our Torridon Activities team, that doesn’t make it a walk in the park.
First of all, he has to swim 3.8km in Loch Shieldaig – unless the temperature has dipped so low as it did the last couple of years when the course had to be shortened to 3km.
Then he has to run 42km over two Munros.
Finally, Ryan must pedal a total of 202km on our beautiful but not always perfectly smooth
Highland roads.
Ryan is known as the Torridon Terminator on the Celtman website. Whether or not he destroys the field, we will be with right him to the end.
