Lace up your boots and gird your garters (is that even an expression?). It’s time for the Torridon Walking Festival, a chance to explore the peaks and valleys of some of the most beautiful mountains in the British Isles and in the company of like-minded outdoor enthusiasts.
It is a beautiful time of year in the Highlands and from 12-14 October these hills will be alive with hikers.
We’ll take in some of Scotland finest peaks, including Torridon’s famous three, Liathach, Beinn Eighe and Ben Alligin, in the company of trained and experienced instructors.
But hang on, you don’t need to be an Everest-class mountaineer to have fun. We have walks to suit all abilities during so if you do not fancy a high level walk why not try one of our low level strolls?
These may not be as challenging as the high tops but it is still guaranteed to be a great day out.
For more information, run, don’t walk to the Walking Festival website or phone 01445 700300 today.
