Last week British Airways made a very exciting announcement that has been long-awaited by those of us in the Highlands.

British Airways are going to be introducing a new daily flight service that will connect Heathrow and Inverness. The new flights are scheduled to start in May 2016.

This will open up so many more opportunities and create a global network for the Scottish Highlands, connecting us to the rest of the world.

It is indeed great news for the Highlands!
